Role: Art Director
Marvel SNAP's High Voltage commercial is a nostalgic, high-energy advertisement featuring John "Motormouth" Moschitta Jr., famous for his 1980s Micro Machines commercials. Produced in just three weeks by Marvel SNAP and Aether Films, the spot captures the frenetic energy of the game mode through a deliberately over-the-top visual style reminiscent of vintage toy commercials. The advertisement generated over one million views in a single day.
As the Art Director for the project, I played a crucial role in preparing and executing the visual design of the production. I initiated and managed prop house accounts, carefully selected furniture, set decorations, and props that aligned with the creative vision. My responsibilities included developing comprehensive pick-up and drop-off schedules for rental items, ensuring smooth logistics and timely procurement of all necessary set elements. On the day of the shoot, I led the Art Department team in meticulously setting up the sets, overseeing every detail of the production design. Throughout the filming, I maintained close communication with the Production Designer, carefully curating each frame to meet the highest aesthetic standards and ensure visual consistency. My goal was to create a seamless and visually compelling environment that enhanced the storytelling and artistic intent of the project.
